Penelope Cruz and Emile Hirsch attend a press conference and photo call during the Rome Film Festival on Wednesday (October 26) in Rome, Italy.

The 37-year-old Spanish actress and Emile, 26, were joined at the panel by their Venuto al Mondo director, Sergio Castellitto, who planted a kiss of Penelope’s cheek.

Penelope told reporters that playing a single mom in the drama has been one of the most beautiful character she’s ever played and said becoming a mom herself (to son Leo) has been the strongest experience a woman can have.
